This place clearly understands the value of customer appreciation a service. The owner himself (I believe his name is Tom) showed me around his store and was extremely helpful with answering any and every question I had about the products he sells. They have an outstanding selection of hydroponic growing supplies that you won't find anywhere else , and their prices are very competitive. Not only will I be back...I'll be a lifelong customer!

This is a classic Mom and Pops Hardware store. The priced actually are competitive to Lowes or Home Depot. Vernon's has everything you need. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of all products they carry.

The staff at Vernon's Hardware is always so helpful and courteous. They don't mind taking the time to explain the differences in the products and how that can benefit the customer. They have a really nice selection of items and garden plants as well.

This business has always been a family favourite. Ever time I have visited the store the staff is friendly warm and shows a special interest in getting your needs fulfilled. I would recommend all visit the store for your hardware needs. Exceptional parking easy access and so easy to shop!

This store is truly wonderful. They are so helpful and patient when you are trying to figure out how to tackle a project. I have been going to them for over 3 years now and only had friendly helpful and courteous interactions with the staff, who are amazingly knowledgeable in every aspect of home repair and yard work. And, they are very patient with me when I'm desperately trying to describe what I'm wanting to do but have no idea of the correct terminology!

These guys always have what I need, and they go out of the way to make sure I am taken care of. Very personable. I go out of my way and pass up the big orange building to come here because my time is worth something. Plus they have all the cool cooking stuff. Vernon for President !

Great store. Servicing Broadmoor, Sherwood Forrest and surrounding neighborhoods. Well stocked locally owned business. Hard to find items geared to homes of a certain age of nearby surroundings. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Custom window screens made. Better than big box. Some wood but no lumber.

I love this place! Every time I go I find what I need and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. But today, I was very satisfied. I kinda knew what I was looking for, but not. The lady who assisted me not only did the best she could but she also enlisted help from other staff members. Vernon's is Aces in my book!

Vernon's desires to help all of our customers and hope service all Baton Rouge in our family owned hardware store that has served the local area for 53 years now. Thanks to all of my loyal customers who have made this store a success. Check out our organic and hydroponic offerings that evolved these past 5 years. Fox Farm, General Hydroponics, kind led, etc. These items have reached out to Lafayette and New Orleans distances.
